remove shared files where I am not authorized

I want to remove files/folders that were shared with me as a viewer only.  I dont have authorization to manage the list and I cannot therefore remove myself.  these files take up a lot of space and I just want to delete them.

You don't need to manage the member list to remove yourself from a shared folder. You can simply do it from your list of all shared folders that you're a member of, found on your Sharing page.
