Dropbox Doesn't run as a service in Beta build 80.3.119

New member | Level 2

Dropbox Client recently updated to beta build 80.3.119. Suddenly this is unable to run as a service in session 0. When i reinstall version 79.4.143 everything runs fine again until beta version is updated again. I have now removed the option for early access to beta versions and i have reinstalled the latest stable release, however i want to know if this is going to a permanant/future feature of Dropbox stable Releases.

Hey @St3v13t, as you’ve now mentioned that this has been resolved for you upon downgrading to the latest Stable Build, I've moved your report under the relevant Desktop Client Build thread, since this is being monitored by our team devs. Thanks for highlighting!

What are stable and beta builds?

The stable builds are for the Desktop client, which is regularly updated with many improvements and fixes.

A beta build is an early release feature that is subject to these additional terms.
