Hi ,

"File event tracking" is mentioned as one of the difference between standard and advanced plan. What exactly is this feature?

Thanks,

Manish

@Info V.1 That's correct, on the API, this determines whether or the events in the 'file_operations' event category are returned. You can find some more information in the /2/team_log/get_events documentation.

Hey Manish!

What you see on our plans page is that, if you are the admin of a team on an Advanced (or Enterprise) Dropbox Business plan, you can view all file-related actions on your team.

File-level activity includes adding, editing, moving, and deleting files. You can use these events to investigate and troubleshoot problems, such as accidental file deletions, misplaced files or folders, or information security audits.

You can find more info about this here

I hope this helps! :grinning:

Thanks Lusil,

Is there any difference between the events returned via "https://api.dropbox.com/2/team_log/get_events" api?

More specifically , is it that for standard business plan we are not going to get file events when fetching events under "file_operations" category, and only in advanced and above plans, we are going to get these events?

Can someone please clarify the above doubt?
