Making a copy of pictures in Dropbox

New member | Level 2
New member | Level 2

My son passed away June 3rd.

For the funeral, The church created a dropbox file so family could submit pictures to run as a slide show.  I would now like a copy of it (on a jump drive or disc).  Any pathway to do this?

***I'm 68 years old and need step by step directions. I have a macbook pro.

Thank you!

Hey there @Lincolnpines - I'm sorry for your loss.

Could you let me know how were these files shared with you in the first place? Was it through a shared folder or you just got a shared link from the church's folks (with view and download access)?

If the former one, please navigate to your account online directly at https://www.dropbox.com and search for them using the search function from the upper right corner. Once you find them, you can download them individually or multiply select them and download them to your device.

If the latter one, click on the shared link which should re-direct you to a web browser so you can access the files and download them from there (you should be seeing an option to add the files to your account or download them when you click on the ellipsis button on the upper right corner).

Once you've downloaded them to your Macbook, you can go ahead and copy or move them wherever you'd like.

I hope this helps and please let me know how it goes.

My deepest condolences.
