Creating webhooks

Creating webhooks

This is all rocket science so please forgive me.
I have a csv file that is stored within Dropbox.
I'd like to use a no code automation service (Zapier or Integromat as an example) to collect the contents of the csv, process the numbers within it, and then store it elsewhere.

From a little bit of experimentation I have been doing with the no-code automation platform, I think I need a webhook creating for the csv file within dropbox.

How do I do this? This doesn't seem very obvious to me.

Remember, this is rocket science so I'll need simple instructions!

While it's not rocket science, it's not simple, either. You're referring to a feature of the Dropbox API, which is used by programmers to allow their applications to integrate with Dropbox. There is a webhooks section, but it's used for change notifications; not for getting data from a file.

@Kase_Kuchen Rich is correct, Dropbox webhooks are a way for third party applications to be notified of changes; they are not a way to create or access files. I recommend reading the Getting Started guide and File Access Guide first.
