Cursor when using API

Cursor when using API

LRomano

Hey all,

I seem to run into scripts terminating unexplainably when using

result = dbx.files_list_folder_continue(result.cursor)

When I'm running scripts, I am intermittently checking the folders on the Dropbox UI, which leads me to believe that when I'm logged in AND using my API key, the cursor might be updating on both - Is this correct?

Thanks

What happens exactly when the script terminates? Are you getting any error or output?

Also, the cursor used by the API is only a feature of the API, and is specific to your app. Just accessing the Dropbox UI, such as the web site, doesn't itself affect the cursor. (Any changes you make elsewhere may be reflected in the results returned when using a relevant cursor of course though.)

I see, it must just be the script then. Good to know the cursor is only isolated to the API.

Will update the other thread. 🙂
