Can You help me please? Can I get the previewUrl for the specific document revision from the API. I use the https://api.dropboxapi.com/2/files/list_revisions API for getting document revisions list, but id properties for each getted item are equal.

The https://www.dropbox.com/developers/documentation/http/documentation#sharing-get_file_metadata API requires the body file parameter that allows to set only Id or Path (Not revision. For Example: "rev:0159bc907e930bd0000000198913c40").

Hi @VictorNemiro,

I don't think support for such link is available currently. Probably you have to ask using feature request. Other workarounds are possible, which partially cover what you ask for. That might or might not work for you. As you mentioned "id" is expected. So give the id . Instead updating current file, you can replace it, so a new file gets up, even with same name and of course new id. You can query, every time such "update" gets done, for new link. In such a case only file id is need (would be different for every "revision"), nothing more! Significant drawback is limited validity of such link (till the moment file gets removed completely from Dropbox' storage, according your subscription). :no_mouth:

The choice is yours.

@VictorNemiro As Здравко mentioned, this isn't available. It's not possible to get a preview URL for a specific previous revision of a file, but I'll pass this along as a feature request. I can't promise if or when that might be implemented though.

Need more support?
