Is there a way to detect if a password protected file has been accessed or how many times? I mean, is there any way to get proof of access after the password input directly?

No, the Dropbox API doesn't offer anything like that, but I'll be sure to pass this along as a feature request.

Thanks! It would be great even as a boolean that it has been succesfully accessed. I am not talking about statistics or anything like that but a confirmation that it has been read, much like messaging systems provide!
