dropbox empty

my dropbox is empty all of a sudden... anybody any idea what happend? all my files are gone, also in the deleted files

yes, i see that my colleague removed the acces to a shared folder... can you tell me how that happened and how we can prevent it from happening in the future? The only thing is that his dropbox is on his external drive...
