Could anyone help me please?

I have a few lines of code in Python:

from dropbox import Dropbox
dbx = Dropbox(<my_access_token>)
dbx.files_download_to_file(dst, src)

During executing this code an error is raising up:

http_resp: expected requests.models.Response, got <class 'requests.models.Response'>

And i do not know what to do with this exeption.

I'll be happy to help with this, but I'll need some more information. Can you let me know:

  • What are the types and values of 'dst' and 'src' in this code?
  • What version number of the 'dropbox' library do you have installed?
  • What version number of the 'requests' library do you have installed?

Thanks a lot for a reply!

The types of 'dst' and 'src' are strings.
'dst' value is '/tmp/backups/products.sql'
'src' value is '/test/products.sql'
the 'dropbox' library number version is 9.4.0
the 'requests' library number version is 2.22.0

Thanks! Those variables types and values look fine.

I just tried this with those same versions of dropbox and requests though, and I didn't get that error.

Have you modified the dropbox or requests libraries at all, or do you have anything in your code that may be impacting the types? If you can share the minimal code needed to reproduce this, that would be helpful.

Also, what version of Python itself are you using?

Need more support?
