See what folders a user belongs to

See what folders a user belongs to

As an admin, I want to be able to easily see what folders a specific user belongs to. I'd love to be a be able to go to the "Members" page, click on a user, and then see a list of all the folders they have access to. If I need to partially reduce a specific users folder access, I would currently have to click "Share" next to each folder and look through who the members were. And even then, if they belong to a folder I don't, I won't know they are on it.

I'd also like to be able to change their permission and uninvite them to those folders from that same view. So, once I've opened the "Members" page, clicked on the user, and am looking at the folders they belong to, I'd want to be able to make edits from there.

Hi, just wondering if there's been any progress on this? We really need this feature for our company. Thanks.

This single overlooked feature has got me on the verge of leaving dropbox altogether! I first filed a request for this feature about four years ago and was assured it was an obvious oversight that would be fixed immediately.

Please dropbox admins - find out what stage this is at and give us a realistic timeline because for all small businesses who work with contractors who have their own accounts, it becomes a massive task to extricate someone from their file system when they stop working with us!

WHY hasn't Dropbox added this feature that I have been asking for for YEARS, as have others.

We have a LOT of folders shared with lots of different people when someone leaves our team I have to open every frickin' folder to see if it is shared with that person.  We ALL ***really*** need the ability to provide an email address and search for all the folders in our repository that are shared with the person.  Then, having a "Remove all shares" function/button would be really ... HELPFUL.

Wow 4 years Drop box is asked to make a change which is obviously important and yet no progress........  So tell me again why Drop box is better than Onedrive or icloud or Google etc etc..

this feature is way overdue! Think about it logically and how much work it is to remove someone folder by folder. Like an employee that's been working for you for 5 years.  It will take a whole day to figure out which folders. Etc. This is such a "duh" feature. Please do this!

Not sure why this is an issue that still "is going to need some additional support before we can share your suggestions with the team." This seems like such an incredibly obvious and important issue. Anyone who uses Dropbox in a professional setting is going to come across an instance where they need to be sure that someone they have hired or shared folders with has beeen removed from accessing all folders when that person leaves. It is time consuming to have to go through each folder individually, and can leave you concerned that you might end up missing a subfolder that has been shared. It would be so much easier to just put in the person's email address and click "remove from all shared folders". Please fix this issue!

THIS IS NEEDED!  It's a security issue for anyone that uses dropbox for business.

This would be such a life saver if it's possible with a non-member who is sharing a folder. To see a list of users outside the team and the folders they have access to. The be able to remove access to them in one click instead of going through all the folders.

Wonder if there is a solution for this already?
