At the moment, only annual subscriptions will receive the an email receipt after each payment. Please note, we have passed your request to the Billing team, we regularly re-review ideas and will update you if anything changes.
I subscribe to a dozen + services and Dropbox is the only one that doesn't even offer downloadable PDFs (most actually send them out by email). Get with the program!
Yes please add this feature. I am a bookkeeper and every month I have to hassle my boss to login and download the receipt. This should be emailed automatically and there should be an option to specify which email address it is sent to. We will be moving platforms if this isn't resolved - it's dumb. There I said it.
Same issue here, unfortunately, and a deal breaker for me.
I have people chasing me for the invoices and my productivity goes down every time they do so.
Either Dropbox:
a) Allows assigning an email address for invoice reception and sends invoices directly
Or:
b) Creates a user role exclusively for financial purposes (not admin and not file storage) so that they can log in and download them.
I'm not asking Dropbox to fix the ridiculous, pathetic state of how invoicing works across companies and countries, but one of the above would help mitigating the problem.
I am staggerde that after 5 years this simple feature is not implemented. Clearly Dropbox doesn't care about service and is not orientated towards business.
