Google Docs allows its users to create a new document from a bookmark to https://docs.google.com/create. This is handy, as you can create a new doc without loading the home page of Google Docs/Drive.
It would be nice if Paper had a similar feature. That is, I wish a way to create a new doc immediately without loading the home page of Paper. The entry point URI should look something like https://paper.dropbox.com/doc/new.
Along similar lines, when using Etherpad, if you hit a URL for a "pad" that doesn't exist yet, it just get's created. For that to work though, the Paper Doc URL would need to be more sane.
Seems like the current URL has the title and then a GUID tacked on. If the doc name changes, I suspect the URL will break too.
I suspect that a document is redirected based on its unique identifier if its name doesn't exist. The string before the last hyphen can actually be ignored. The title part of a URI is for human, and the ID part is for machine, right?
