Enable linking to comment threads

Sometimes we discuss things as a team which leads to changes in the document. I then want to summarise the change but keep a link to the initial discussion for reference. The solution I reached for was to link to the initial comment thread but it looks like that's not possible.

This continuity feels pretty important to me. Comment threads retain a massive amount of information and can be a great way of debugging our product process.

Greetings @Archives E. - how are you today?

I am sorry for the delayed response, yet I wanted you to know that I have passed your comments along to our Paper's dev team for future consideration - thank you for your invaluable feedback about comments on Paper!

Should you have any more feedback or suggestions, please do let us know.

Until then, have a great day and thank you for using Paper!

Following up on this thread to let you know that I worked on this with a colleague of mine and we were able to come up with a workaround.

As linking to a comment thread is not possible at the moment, nor having it visible in case you resolved it, you can try doing this:

1. Find the "comment history" from within your Paper docs' options. To find this, click on the ellipsis button (...) on the upper right corner, then click on the "Doc History" option.

2. When browsing your "comment history" section, take a screenshot of the comments you'd like to link to. This will save your screenshot of the comments on your computer.

3. Find the screenshot in question within your computer's storage and insert it to your Paper doc. Alternatively, you can even create a shared link to this screenshot and embed the link directly into your Paper doc (it should render to depict the screenshot as well, yet it could be deleted in order to save space, if needed that is).

I understand this is not optinal, yet, I truly hope it helps to some extent.

Cheers!
