Can the team add more `headings` support for `h3,h4,h5,h6`? I understand that level of nesting is usually overkill, but sometimes it's necessary. for complex documents and user guides.
At least proper support for `h3` would do it. Right now it just seems to convert ### to *strong*, which is not useful for markdown export. I want headings to be treated differently than bolded items.
Thanks for getting in touch here with this request!
You may keep in mind that more formatting options on Paper is a popular feature request & it has already been passed on to the relevant team. On my end, I’ve made sure to pass your comments along as well, I appreciate your feedback!
If you have further queries or requests, please feel free to get back in touch on the Dropbox Community, I'd be glad to follow-up.
Hope you have a great day ahead!
Markdown management by Paper for headers is great, one of the top features to get well structured documents.
3 levels of header makes it really hard to structure complex documents where more levels could be needed.
Having up to 5 levels of header would be very nice.
I'd go all the way to 6 (or more). I work on design documents that are very hierarchical and you blow through the 3 levels very fast.
One year later and still no H3 Markdown export support... this sucks.Any update on the development.. shouldnt be that much work to change.
having more than 3 hierarchy levels would make it possible to use dropbox paper as a CMS for simple websites. Maybe this would be a convincing reason to move this up the priority list.
add more than 3 hierarchy levels.
Y’all are Dropbox. It’s time to start competing with Google just a little - 3 headers is just not enough. Love the interface love the attachments Google does not have that and or a timeline view it’s like Notion but Notion only has 3 headers people simply have deeper ideas that can build off the H3. Google workspace is coming out soon that seems promising, adding attachments directly to documents. Google has implemented a table of contents with multiple headers since what their first release. I’m looking for alternatives because of the table of contents situation alone here. The app is nice almost perfect. Some things here and their y’all would be at the top of the chain simply put.
