Hide/Show Checkbox Items in tasks for Paper docs

I know you can view your unchecked tasks in the sidebar, but you aren't able to edit them (as far as I know) from there. 

As a project manager of most of the dropbox papers I'm involved in, it would be nice to hide the checked items, to update/organize unchecked items for my own tasks and those of others. 

I don't want to delete the strikethroughs because they often are connected to comments with info I need to reference.

You’re right, currently the only way to edit them would be through the Paper doc that they’re in.

I just wanted to mention here that tasks that have been checked are automatically taken out of the For me and For others filtered queue, but can be viewed from the Completed filter. From there, you can also uncheck them, which will take them back to For me and For others.

Sorry for the late reply, just wanted to update this idea and mention that you are able to check items to remove them from the to-do list panel and view completed ones separately.
