We are a team with several projects going at any given time. Currently I have multiple timelines spread out into multiple docs. I can copy and paste them into one "master" doc, but anytime I have to make a change to a timeline, it would force me to do that on multiple docs.

 

This is also a similar case with out team when it pertains to tasks. When I assign a team member a task in a Paper Doc ... there is no way for me to have a master list of who is doing what. I have to dive into each individual doc to see who is assigned to certain tasks.

It's harder to tell right now that the same people are carrying a heavy load in multiple projects. This feature would make us better leaders. If this was available, we'd use it multiple times a day.

I believe now the issue on the master list of tasks is solved by clicking on "For Others" in the filter for the to-do checklist view.

 

I agree with the masterlist for the timelines though! It would be really handy to see everything in one place instead of viewing the docs one-by-one.

Voting this up! The master to do list, as someone mentioned, is visible when you change the to do list on the upper right to "For Others", but the other idea of a master timeline would be great to see everyone's workload. Like Float and other applications, you'd need to be able to assign hours to the timeline blocks. Take a look at my request, you might like this one as well since you have a team with multiple projects. I am requesting that timeline elements have the ability to be assigned to a project document and a to do item within the project document:

Agreed! I was also thinking a calendar view.  I can see all my to-dos by date or doc but when I'm trying to get an overall feel of my workload (and if anything should be moved) a calendar view of all tasks would be great!
