Anyone figured out how to do relative vs absolute links inside documents?
I have a master paper document that contains internal links to sections within the document. This works fine.
When I copy the document, I need the internal links to refer to the copied document (or more generally, the document the link is in), not the original.
e.g., the master document has a 'References' section at the bottom, and when I link to it, paper uses the [master document URL]&h2=References.
When I copy the document, I want the link inside to be [new document]&h2=References, or just &h2=References, whereas it stays as [master document URL]&h2=References.
Describe me, please, how to create in a Paper document internal links to sections within the document?
If you hover over the paragraph you want to link to, a little bookmark icon should appear on the left. When you click that it will copy a URL to the clipboard for that specific position in the document. You can use to link it.
Thank you, Nick! It really works!
For a long time i couldn't understand what it works only for headers (string, formatted as H1, H2, etc).
