Collapsing Document Sections Into headings

Longtime hackpad and heavy paper user. One of my favorite aspects of paper is the ability create long flowing documents that progress as the project grows. Simply adding new updates to the top is a great way to keep all collaborators in the same documents without needing to create new docs and then have to manage multiple docs.

As the paper document grows it would be great to have the ability to collapse sections of the document into the headings.

It would provide a great way to keep large documents organized into sections.

It would also help to declutter documents to show sections that have been completed.

Im sure there are also alot of other edge cases for this.

+1 to this. Currently making a doc with 2 large sections with images. Would be great if I could create a collapsible section to make it not take up so much room when not being looked at.

My entire firm would switch to paper from Workflowy if you could create collapseable bullet points. Not just on the headers, and bullet should be able to be collapsed

Sublime Text (even though it is for coding), has an really nice way of folding code. Maybe be inspired by it's discrete little folding arrows on the side there?

As the paper gets longer, it'd also be nice if the collapsed sections weren't even loaded (or could be "archived"). On Google Doc, long docs tends to make my browser slow, and I imagine this will happen with Dropbox Paper as I use it more.

Actually I was looking for something like this and posting a new idea.

Basically my use case is, I'm using a shared Paper doc where I have my problem definition, inspirations, ideas and sketchs.

As a product designer I also post there my mockups in order to get quick critique from my team. As design is iterative, I need to post different versions with different updates and having the possibility to collapse old mocks within sections would be an amazing feature.

This will be a very important feature.

Otherwise everything is opened up, espcially when you link a dropbox pdf file. Not elegant.

I loved this feature in Notion.

Paper is so **bleep** close to being _the_ tool for every team.  Excited to see this.
