Dropbox Paper offline

I'd love to be able to access and edit my Dropbox Paper documents offline. Specifically, that would be the most convenient on my mobile phone. I've used a competitive product for years now and having the ability to bring up an itinerary or a confirmation number is very handy. And, I've found myself in situations where I've needed that data, but have not had an internet connection.

I love the way Dropbox Paper works, and I love its features. But, without the ability to work offline, I'm afraid I have to stick with a competitor's product. Sorry.

I can't agree more. I'd like to use Paper to replace Evernote, and without this offline functionality and a proper desktop client, I won't feel to switch.

Agree, I'd like to have offline support as well. I love the simplicity - just the right amount of features for me, but without offline access I can't really rely on the service enough to switch from OneNote. Yes, I know it something completely different, but that's exactly why Paper seems so nice - just enough features to write nice - readable notes, include stuff and code with beautiful highlighting without being distracted by all other unnecessary features.

This is great feedback guys and definitely something we are exploring. We are currently still only in beta, but as soon as we have more news to share - we will! winking face

I think, to offer an evernote alternative in combination with file storage is the idea behind paper. And yes, i'm definitely willing to switch from evernote. What i especially like is the folder structure of notes, in Evernote you have to tag everything carefully in order to avoid chaos.

Offline support. The only major factor. Better if with Linux support - it will be THE ONLY ONE productivity suite that cover 3 OSes

Seriously thinking about moving way from evernote, since their recent change of pricing and recent recurrent file loss. Already on paid DB, much better for me if all in one service.

I really love Paper so far. I am writing from an airplane with limited bandwidth so Paper doesn't load well etc (not blaming Paper for this). My ask from the Dropbox team are dedicated apps for both iOS and OSX (and when you have time android and windows winking face that we can use offline to work on our Paper pages and folders.

YES PLEASE! If Paper can have offline capabilities, an iOS app, and a Mac App, I will delete my other main note taking apps, including evernote!

+1. I am using Paper in tandem with Apple Notes not necessarily because of offline support, because I almost always have internet, but because of the convenience of Mac & iOS native apps.

Having this, I can forget any other note-taking app - for now, Paper's web version is really excellent, but I have to combine it with another app for offline use. If you make that available in Paper, I am sure many like me will switch to it fully.

Just to add another voice to the call for offline functionality and a dedicated iOS app. Then I can give up Evernote, which I've been looking to do for ages.
