Would be awesome to have the ability to upload pictures also and paint on them and have versions, everything like with video! This is only thing is missing here.

The ability to upload images is an absolute must. +1 over here.

Agree, it actually must be so much simpler to implement than annotating on videos? 
I cannot use Replay without this functionality.

It seems you can upload images to Replay now!

However, please can you add the ability to paint on images when commenting?
