1 year 100gb promotion

Hello,

I've got 100GB free with my new Acer computer. The offer says I've got 100GB storage for 1 year. What happens after 1 year if I don't upgrade and I stick with the free 2gb plan?? Will they delete all my storage if I use the 100GB? It's not clear at all and I'm worried to use this offer if I don't upgrade to a pay plan after the 1st year.

Thanks!

If you're over your quota when the bonus space expires, syncing will be disabled. Your files won't be deleted and they'll still be accessible, but you won't be able to add or change any files in your account until you're back below your quota.

Thanks! So if I always stay under 100GB I can make use of my storage (without syncing) regardless if I don't plan to upgrade, right?

Hi @JavierCanada

Not quite because once the free promo expires your quota will drop to 2gb (higher if you have other increases from places like www.dropbox.com/gs).

Hi @xRuruu, no files will be deleted when your promotional space expires. You can still access and download your files.

However, any edits or new files will not sync to your account if you are overquota.
