2 accounts, one email, now I can't access the first account

2 accounts, one email, now I can't access the first account

I logged out and created a new account using the same email address as the first account - I thought I could "name" my account with a non profit I am supporting.  

There was no prompt, that email is already in use (I had just changed the email name on the first account)

I can see the files when I go to them through my shortcuts, but I can not sign into the account.

Hi @rosieschuman, I hope you're well today!

 

It wouldn't be possible to have two accounts under the same email address. Could you just clarify for me what steps you took when you mentioned that you changed the email on the first account?

 

Did you change the email address that was linked with your Dropbox account before signing out of the account with these steps?

 

Also, when you mentioned that you can't sign into the account, are you referring to the first account that you signed out of? What kind of issue are you having signing into the account?

 

If you're getting any errors, please send along a screenshot of this (excluding any personal info like your email).
