A user is sending links from a fake email

Explorer | Level 3

There is an account that has gained access to our mailing list that is now sending out files to said list that i imagine have virus/malware attached in some way,
The account is using a very similar email address to ours (droped 1 "s")
How can i report this to dropbox to see what they can do about it?

Hi @Conquestpools, thanks for posting on the Community!

If there is a user sending links, and using an email similar to your own I’d recommend contacting abuse@dropbox.com with any information on this matter, including the email address they’re sending it from, an example link, and the actual email they’re sending out.

If it’s a shared link, there should also be an option to report the link when you open it on the Dropbox site by clicking the flag on the bottom left.

Hope this helps!
