Can I use the 'Family plan' for acquaintances who are not real family members?
And is each user protected for their account?

Hi @anyshin; how are you today?
Even though it's called the Family plan, of course you can use it with anyone you want as long as they're 13 years old and above.
In addition, each member of a Dropbox Family plan will have their own, private account. Only the files you choose to share can be viewed or edited by others.
For more information, please take a look at the relevant Help Center article:
I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any more questions.
What is the size of the storage capacity of the personal account of each member of the Dropbox Family?
Also, what is the size of the storage capacity that can be shared?
The Family plan includes 2TB of space, to be shared by all members of the "family." I don't believe there's a set amount for each member. It's just a single pool of space to be shared.
Hey there @anyshin!
Can you try changing the language back to what you had it as previously to see if that does the trick, and shows you the link again?
Hope that helps!
I have long wanted a Dropbox Family Plan to be introduced and it finally has been. I have been a long term personal plus plan user and also have a linked business plan (separate work email).
If you have a personal account linked to a business account you can't sign up for a family plan under your personal account......
This needs to be changed ASAP!
Hi there @TRuss05, thanks for reaching out to us.
Currently, you can’t join a Family plan with an email associated with a Dropbox Business account.
However, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us.
If you have any other questions or thoughts, don't hesitate to get back to us.
In the meantime, I hope you have a lovely day ahead!
