Accessing files from a business account with a personal account.

Howdy,

I recently joined a company that holds a dropbox business team account and was told to get a personal account to access the files. However, I am unable to download the files (~8GB) because they exceed my storage allowance. My employer says that I should be able to access the files because they pay for storage on the business account. Do I need to buy plus/professional on my personal account to access the files?
Thanks.

Hi @nickbish

They need to add your account to the Business Account if you dont want to be impacted by the quota limits. Only people WITHIN the business account benefit from that.

If they dont want to add you to to Business plan you'll need to upgrade.
