Dear Dropbox Team,

I have been trying to get in touch with you via Dropbox Support, but after many unanswered ticket requests I am trying my luck via this route. On Feb 21 I accidentally signed up for a free business account, which I canceled immediately on the same day after realizing that it was not the basic plan. I canceled the subscription and also deleted my account as there was no need for Dropbox after all. Now a month later I am being charged $119.88 for an annual business plan. I was very surprised to see such scam from a company like Dropbox and it is very frustrating that no one answers my support requests. Now I had to create a new account again only to be able to post this issue. I hope you will solve the problem and issue a refund. I can only warn new subscribers to be very cautious and watch their bank accounts.

Hi @ml1986, thanks for joining the Community.

I understand your frustration over this matter. It sounds like you upgraded to a Dropbox Professional plan, not a Dropbox Business plan, given the cost of the charge.

When you say you cancelled the subscription, did you originally upgrade via the Dropbox site, or the mobile app?

According to your bank statement, was the charge made by Dropbox, Apple or Google Play?

This will help me to assist further!
