Are my files being held hostage?

ng held host I signed on and can no longer access them unless I pay money to Dropbox it seems.

No there not. 

 

Simply press the X button (top right) or tap escape to get past the message.

I don't know what was going on but on the Mac using Safari I could not get past the red warning sign to see the files.

I was able to get on using Windows Edge browser to see them but not sure what the difference between the two.
