Are my quota increases permanent?

Helpful | Level 6

I show 3 GB of bonus for using camera uploads in 2013. Also 250 MB for getting started in 2013 and 500 MB for a referral in 2011. I have a basic Dropbox  account with  7GB of space.

Can anyone tell me if that will stay permanent?

Thank You for your time

Pud

Hi Pud, if it doesn’t show an expiry date, then it should be permanent.

For those promotions in question - namely the old camera upload bonus, get started, and referral bonuses - they are indeed permanent on your account.

Hope this helps!

No worries, glad to have helped!

Just so you know, even if you do get temporary promotional quota, or upgraded to a paid plan and then downgraded, no files will be deleted from your Dropbox account.

All that will happen is that files will stop syncing until the account returns to below the quota level.

Hope this clarifies matters, and enjoy your weekend!
