I have to decide if I continue with Dropbox (I have Pro) or look after another solution. I need a smart sync at a reasonable price. I don't need more than one T. Someone knows if Dropbox will offer the smart sync at a reasonable price for Pro users? Thanks
Keep an eye out at places like Dell, Amazon on Black Friday and other resellers as they will often have vouchers you can use for Dropbox. HOWEVER as yet I've not seen one for anything other than Plus although obviously that may change.

It's a shame Dropbox don't offer discounts on the Professional plan. I've been offered 30% off Plus membership renewal but I would go for Professional if there was a similar discount. I think I might renew Plus this time but then move to another provider soon. I only want the smart sync feature but it's not worth the extra £144 for my usage. And there's no pont in siging up a business account as I won't meet the three user minimum.
I'll second that one. SmartSync was promised for years and now that it's available it costs double? I've been happy with the quality of service from Dropbox for years but the bundling strategy is broken and price point is too high.
Same here. I had the discounted version of the Plus from Dell store for 1 year, I even asked them if I can pay an extra $10/month just to get the smart sync, they refused and said they have to cancel my current Plus subscription and because I prepaid at Dell.com, they can't refund my money. And I had to subscribe to the Professional version with full price.
Let me know when you find good alternatives. I'm stuck on Plus for about a year, then I will switch.
