I had a Dropbox basic account and was charged for the Pro. Makes no sense

The only way to be charged for an account is if you upgraded to a paid subscription or signed up for a trial without canceling the trial before it ended. Dropbox also wouldn't be able to charge you without you or someone else entering your payment information.

If you're being charged for an account but your account is showing as Basic, use the charge look-up tool to determine which account you're being charged for.

Basic account but charged

Initially, I signed up for a business account, not knowing the basic was available.  DropBox hides the basic account.  Well within the trial period, I realized what I had done.  On your website I found the area to downgrade the business account to basic.  The account  was changed immediately, showing all the signs of being a basic account.  Yesterday, I received a receipt for my credit card being billed $200 plus.  I have contacted my credit card company and contested the improper charge as well as any future charges.  I want the error straightened out.
