Been paying for a subscription but my files are gone, help nowhere to be found

I have had a Dropbox account for a very long time and have been paying a basic subscription.  Today, I go to check my account and most of my files are gone.  It's been longer than 30 days so I imagine all my files are gone?  Still being charged the subscription....   I can't seem to locate where to get help - Online info is no help, basic accounts don't get access to help beyond the chatbot, it seems.  What to do?

Hi @mariaLB, thanks for joining the Community!

You mentioned that you were paying for a Basic plan, however, Basic plans are free. 

Are you referring to another paid plan? Do you see any payments on this page?

Regarding the missing files, do you see anything on the events page?

Any other info or screenshots would be helpful!

Jay,  Thank you for your assistance.  This was my mistake.  I discovered that I have a dropbox account under an old email address and that's the one housing most of my files.  Issue resolved.
