Being billed for an account that I do not have

Being billed for an account that I do not have

HELP! I've been billed for an account that I did not sign up for since May and have been unable to reach anyone to stop this! I have a free account and keep getting routed there and have no way to find out the sign in on the account I'm getting billed for. I've tried for 7 months to cancel this account, but, the free account just keeps coming up. When I put in my billing information in to this tool, it says there is no account, and yet, I'm being billed $11.99 per month. I have disputed the charges on my account, but, I want this cancelled and a full refund immediately. $83.93.

Hi @vs12, thanks for posting today!

It sounds like you have another Dropbox account which is being charged, if your current account is on a Basic plan. Have you tried to locate this account using the card lookup tool?

As this is related to sensitive billing info, I’d recommend getting in contact with our support team directly by using this support link, scrolling down to 'Submit a help request', and providing as much info as possible.

They should be able to assist from there on.
