Can I buy a certain amount of space instead of a subscription?

New member | Level 2

Hi,

i have been a user of dropbox for a couple years now and i always stuck with the basic plan that i signed in with.( at the time we got about 500mb for each person we invited)

i have 15gb which was a lot back then but now its not enough.

i wanted to know how i can buy 100gb or 250 or 500, without a monthly plan.

i want to pay for a perm storage increase without the monthly payments.

i looked at the plans and the lowest is 1Tb for about 8£ a month, this is way more than i need.

anyone knows how to do this, or how to contact the dropbox team because all i can fnid is chatting with a robot which is not helpfull in my situation.

thank you for your time

Re: Buying extra storage

Dropboxer

Hey there @ScarletFX, thanks for reaching out to us here!

Buying a certain amount of storage isn't something that's possible I'm afraid, we currently have only subscriptions for paid upgrades.

The smallest plan that we have at the moment is Dropbox Plus which comes with 2 TB of space. This plan used to be 1 TB which I believe is what you're referring to. You can check out more about our personal plans here.

I hope this info helps, let me know if you have any other questions!
