Can I have a billing admin without them being a team admin on the account?

Can I have a billing admin without them being a team admin on the account?

Hey, could anybody ever manage to add a second contact for invoices like billing@cotonso.com ? I just asked via chat and cant believe that this function is not available for a cloudservice that costs nearly 10k per year.

Hey there @shabsn,

From what I understand, you're on a Business subscription, is that right?

Please note that for someone to receive an invoice and have access to the Billing tab, they'd have to be part of the team and have admin rights

However, I understand how important this is for you, and I'd be more than happy to pass your comment along to the team.

Hey Lusil, thanks for your time! Yes this is def. a function that needs to be implemented. Its really bad when it comes to compliance, giving someone admin rights just to make sure he/she recieves the invoice.

Is there any way to add something like a billing administrator? It makes no sense to give someone the team-administrator role just to see invoices.

Hi @shabsn - welcome to our Community!

As you correctly mentioned the only way to see the billing history of a team account is to be a fully-fledged team admin. 

Even on plans that support multiple admin roles such as User-management admins and support admins, only the Team Admins would be able to access the billing history to see the invoices and/or receipts.

That being said, you can post your ideas if you have something to suggest in the relevant section of our Community
