Can I merge two Dropbox accounts to prevent paying for both of them?

New member | Level 2

Here is my question:

I have now signed up for billing to two dropbox accounts -- i think.  I have looked at my dropbox account on the app, and all of the files are there from years ago and the newest files.

Why cannot I see all my files from the regular webpage and only through the app?

The newest activation was this morning:  email - [Removed as per Community Guidelines]

My existing account is on email:  [Removed as per Community Guidelines]

Please help!  Please ensure I will not be double-billed, and please combine these boxes so all the files appear on the webpage.  Thank you!

Re: combining accounts

Hi @kymberv8m, I’ve removed your email addresses for your own security and privacy.

Regarding your query, it sounds like you have two separate Dropbox accounts, which would mean you can only sign into one account at a time on the Dropbox desktop application. This is why you can only access one account via the site.

Could you check the payments page when logged into your accounts and see which one has been recently charged, or is the account you no longer want to keep upgraded?

Afterwards, you can downgrade that account using the steps here.

Currently, it isn’t possible to merge accounts automatically, however, you can try the steps on this page.

Let me know how it goes!
