Can I safely delete my Dropbox (old) folder? Will I lose any files?

Can I delete dropbox(old) folder? Not sure all of the files are in current dropbox folder. Is old just a snapshot of dropbox at an earlier time?

That likely would have been a previous copy of the Dropbox folder that you renamed at some point. It's probably safe to delete, but if you're concerned about deleting something that you don't have in the main Dropbox folder, get a program to compare folders (like Beyond Compare) and it will show you the differences between the two.

I would inspect both the (old) and normal folders to see what they contain. If its an old folder and you see that the contents are older than what you have know uploaded... i would say it's safe to delete it. Usually it's an old version.
