Dear board,

 

Two years ago I was in a different country and I made a dropbox account and uploaded some files. I linked the account to an outlook e-mail account which I made for this purpose. Now when I try to log in it notices that I am in a different location and wants to verify that it is me by sending an e-mail to the linked e-mail adress. The problem is that I am having the same issue with the e-mail adress. I can not access it because I am in a different location and the phone number to which the e-mail is linked, I have lost. Now I need a way to get in to my dropbox without the e-mail. I do have the correct password but the system just will not let me access it without confirmation from the e-mail.

 

How can I solve this?

Hi @Maseh, thanks for posting on the Community!

 

I'm sorry to hear about this situation. Generally, you need access to the email address associated with your Dropbox account in order to login. 

 

Have you tried contacting the Outlook support team to try to regain access to your email address? Is there any way to regain the old phone number from the carrier, at least temporarily?
