Can't find files after pro plan with employer expired

HELP! I've been a Dropbox paid customer for nearly a decade or more. I recently worked on a 5 month contract where I was added in to their Biz pro account. When the contract ended it seems my membership ended but I received NO notification. I just logged in and ALL of my files are gone. I don't understand why Dropbox wouldn't email me to resume the membership I had prior? I also can't seem to find a live chat support person to explain this too.

 

I'm not panicking yet. I'm sure my files are all floating in the cloud somewhere..I just need to know how to get them back. If I reactivate manually will they reappear? HELP!

The reason you didnt get the membership back was explained when you joined the Biz account - the company was given the credit for your plan. This is why when joining you have to almost force Dropbox to not set up a second new account for the business plan.

 

It sounds like when they removed you from the account they also revoked your files, so, you need to speak to them to get them back.

Any suggestions on how I contact them? I’m so stunned they didn’t send an automatic email when the employer removed me. They email me for every little thing.. Including when it was set up by that employer!

Now I can’t figure out how to reach a real person... UGGHHH.
