How do you reacccess and old lost drop box that contains your back up?

If you remember the email address and password that you used for the account, you can just sign in again, assuming the account is still active. If the account was idle for more than a year, then it was likely deleted due to inactivity.

 

If you remember the email address but not the password, you can try to reset the password. If an account exists for that email, you'll receive instructions on how to reset your password.

I was in the hospital , being treated for a serious chronic illness. Why was it so necessary to delete my account. Lost my contacts photos contracts. I had uploaded. What was drop box going to run out of space. Smh

Hi @Mike Tree, when was the last time you logged into the account?

 

If it was over 12 months ago, then it would've been deactivated by Dropbox due to inactivity, which could explain what happened here. Please keep me posted.
