trying to change credit card on file---HOW???

Hi @Frances11, are you trying to change your Dropbox payment information? Then follow these steps:

 

  1. Sign in to dropbox.com.
  2. Click the avatar at the top of any page.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Click Billing.
  5. Click Update on the Payment method tab.
  6. Select your new payment method and enter the requested information.

Note: If your payment method is Mobile, you won't be able to change it using the instructions above. Visit the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to manage your subscription.

I set up a drop box account through my apple account (mobile).  I would like to change my payment method to a business credit card not associated with my apple account.  Is this possible?

I’d kindly recommend contacting Apple Support from more info on the matter, since you mention that:

Click the Billing tab at top of the page. If you don't have a Billing tab then you're either not on a paid subscription, or you started your subscription through the Apple or Google Play stores, in which case you need to contact them.

Hey @Rebecca Phillips, thanks for nudging us on this thread!

 

If you don't see a Billing tab, could it be that you're on a Basic (free) account? You can check this by going to your Plan tab
