Can you help me change the currency I'll be billed on?

New member | Level 2

dropbox has told that it no longer syncs as it is full. it has asked me to upgrade to either 2 TB or 3 TB. upgrading shows in US dollars as I had got my dropbox account when I was in USA. I have however relocated totally to India for the past 2 years and I want to pay in Indian rupees as I do not have a bank account in US dollars. How do we change the nationality of the account so that for future references, it shows to me in Indian rupees only.

Dropboxer

Hi @rskganga; welcome to our Community!

Extrapollating from your description, it sounds like your subscription has already been downgraded to the free, Basic plan so you'll just need to re-upgrade from our website.

Please note that no files have been deleted, although sync would pause for the time being before you upgrade again.

While we're at it, please keep in mind that for the time being we accept the following currencies:

  • Euro (Eur)
  • British Pound (GBP)
  • Australian Dollar (AUD)
  • Canadian Dollar (CAD)
  • Japanese Yen (JPY)
  • U.S. Dollar (USD)

I hope this information helps and please let me know if you have any additional questions.
