Cannot access an old email account; don't know password -- Please help!

Please, please, please help. My computer crashed, and with it my Dropbox, which I have had for >7 years. Unfortunately, i have left my last place of employment, and therefore cannot access their email. I have forgotten my password from long ago. Can you please give me the name/email of someone i can communicate with who might be able to help?  (I noticed that Jay was able to get in contact with someone named Damian)

 

I don't even know if I am sending this to the correct board!

Hi @JSchiller, thanks for posting on the Community!

 

Generally, we require all users to have access to the email address associated with their Dropbox account in order to be able to verify their identity. Have you tried any of the steps on this page

 

Without access, it isn't possible to reset the password, since it can only be sent to that email address.

 

I can see that on this new account that you have submitted a ticket to the support team. I've gone ahead and prioritized it to expedite matters on your behalf.

I am not able to login my account
I hv checked my email and password its all correct ..still m having problem to log in

Hi @Swarup das, what error are you getting when attempting to login to the site? Have you tried resetting your password to see if this helps?
