Hi, 

 

I'm really confused about the implications of cancelling my business account which i opened using my personal account. Disband_Team.png

 

my personal account is my NAME, and when I go to cancel the business trial account it asks me to tick a box stating that

I undersand that disbanding the team is permanent and members may retain team data. The NAME Dropbox Account will no longer exist. 

 

It doesn't say the name fo trhe business folder. When i added the Business Account trial, my usual NAME Dropbox got broken up into 2 folers - my NAME for my personal stuff on the original dropbox account and the COMPANY NAME folder. 

 

I'm a little afriad if I delete my busienss account my personal dropbox account will also be deteled? As the name used is my personal account not the business dropbox folder. Does anyone know if this is the case? As the wording is confusing.  

 

Just want to make sure by canclling the business i don't end up deleting all my personal files.

Hi there @drock88, thanks for checking in with us.

 

It looks like you're following these steps to cancel the trial and disband the Business team.

 

This won't delete your account, and you’ll return to the type of account you had before you signed up for the free trial.

 

I hope this helps put your mind at ease!
