Hi, I've looked up how to delete an account in the Help centre (, but when I get to the General tab in Settings, there is no option to click Delete account. Please help?!

Hi @guydj79; thanks for joining our Community!


If you can't see an option to delete your account in your account's settings, it's possible that you're part of a team account. In that case, you'll need to leave the team before you can delete your account. 


If that's the case, you can easily leave the team by going here:

To leave the team, click the 'Leave team' button at the top right hand side of the page. This will return your account to a personal account at which point you'll be able to delete your account normally. 


Please note that when you leave a team, you will no longer have access to any files in your team folder so if you would like to retain access to files within the folder, you should make a copy before leaving the team.
