I also die not receive the promised bonus storage for being invited. My friend didnt ether. Dont understand why. Also dont know, how to get in contact with support except here. The chatbot is of no help.

Hey @Scary-Mary, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Could you please check your account's plan tab and let me know the referral's status?
Note that your friend will need to install the desktop app on their computer and also verify their email address with us for both of you to get the referral space.

This usually means that the recipient of the referral has already registered an account with Dropbox, or that the recipient is attempting to register using the same computer as you.
If you feel this status is inaccurate, you can double-check the email address of your recipient and try again.

I was invited and never had a dropbox before. But i am using my friends old computer. Do u mean, this is the issue? Then what can i do about it?

Do you mean that your friend sent you the referral and you tried to log in to the desktop app on the same computer that they were previously using? Was there an existing Dropbox app there perhaps?
