Disbanded team and a member's account got deleted?

I am new to Dropbox and registered for the 30 day Dropbox Business trial. The team folder was made available to a few others during a review. Now that the review is over, I disbanded out team folder and removed access for the other users. One of these users now cannot access their own account. Just wondering if I've done something wrong? I didn't think it would affect individual accounts?

Out of curiosity, before disbanding the team, did you delete the member or convert their account to an individual one?

Hi @Lusil, Thanks for your reply! No, I just removed their access from my team account - at least I think that's what I did! The user already had their own Dropbox account prior to being given access to mine (I believe it was also the 30 day Business trial). I did remove the access individually (I didn't realize I could just disband the team) and then received the email stating the team was disbanded. Cheers!

In this case, I'd recommend for the user who's unable to access their account to contact our team by going to this link via an incognito window (without signing in to any account) and filling out the required fields.

Thanks for this advice. I am an admin who cancelled the team account and didn't realise a member would lose his personal files.

I have asked him to follow your advice and will let you know if it works.
