Does the free, basic plan comes at 5 GB now?

Explorer | Level 4

I have read that Dropbox increased the space offered free of charge from 2GB to 5GB. Is that correct? If so, how do I change from my current limit of 2GB to 5GB?

Hey there @Anders3 - how are you today?

Could you please let me know where exactly have you read that or post a link (a screenshot could also do) so I can have a better view of the matter at hand?

As I'm not aware of any recent change in regards to this, I'd like to point out that our current plans for individuals are the following ones:

1.  Dropbox Basic, which comes with 2 GB of free space

2. Dropbox Plus, which comes with 1 TB &

3. Dropbox Professional, which comes with 2 TB.

Note that both Dropbox Plus and the Professional plans come with a monthly or an annnual subscription

If you'd like to get more space, you can always refer your friends, family and/or colleagues or upgrade to a higher tier - based on your needs that is.

I hope this information helps and please let me know if you have any more questions!
