When I click on the Dropbox icon in the Mac menu bar, it used to show me how much space I had used, i.e "1.5TB of 2TB"
Now all it shows me is that I have 2TB account, which is fairly useless, since I know that already and it does not change.
See image below:
Also, notice that "Upgrade" has been automatically highlighted with a blue outline. Do I need to upgrade? Am I almost out of space? I can't tell anymore, because Dropbox has removed useful information and replaced it with useless information.
Using Dropbox version 114.3.363
Hi there @TJ Luoma; thanks for using Dropbox and sharing your thoughts on this!
Truth be told, this could get puzzling indeed, but it's just a recent change to our desktop app's UI and doesn't necessarily mean that you're close to your account's quota limit and/or that you'll need to upgrade.
As for the breakdown of your account's quota usage, you can always take a look at your account's plan tab online or the Account tab via the app's preferences.
I do get your track of thought on this one and I'd suggest that you posted your ideas in the relevant section of our Community so other users can upvote it to show their interest as well.
While at it, you may also want to upvote this idea too!
I know this is not much, but I sure hope it helps to a certain extent.

I'm glad to see that this ill-conceived change was reverted back to the more useful format we were used to.
