Hi,
I have been using dropbox for a long time and I encourage others to use the same too
But with the recent trends and vulnerabilities around I have 3 things to suggest, so that Dropbox can be the NO:01 in the cloud storage domain.
1. Include 1 TB Plan too in PLUS Subscription
>> Having PLUS benefit is a good thing but 2 TB might not be the cup of cake for eveyone, for some 1 TB is more than enough and will be cost-effective too, having 1 TB will retain customers who are looking for a premium subscription but with less space and money.
2. Auto Renewal - ON/OFF
>> There should be an option to switch off autorenewal. Currently is like forcing your customers to renew.
3. MOST IMPORTANT - ZERO KNOWLEDGE ENCRYPTION
>> Apart from 256-bit AES and SSL/TLS encryption in transit and at rest, Dropbox should implement Zero-Knowledge-Encryption and end to end encryption technology.
Using zero-knowledge-encryption will ensure the privacy of user's data and no one except the user will have the key to see the data.
Hi @iashishmp; welcome to our Community and thanks for sharing your thoughts with us!
May I ask to post each of your ideas in a separate thread so we can keep track of the progress of each feature request?
Thanks!
